  • Overview

    • Improving the overall sales performance of the company in “country” in Protein Processing equipment, dealing with multinational firms as well as with local players
    • Participate in developing a strategic & operational plan on 3 years, with quarterly forecast and action plan
    • Build strong relationship with other departments such as Project Management, Applications, Finance, HR, Regional Aftermarket/Service
    • Working closely with sales management in Asia to expand the product portfolio offered in “country”, and choosing specific applications as catalyst for the company growth
    • Be Key Account Manager for large / major customers in “country”
    • Visiting key customers at their HQ (Procurement Directors, Engineering, Industrial Directors, etc.) and at their plants
    • Updating weekly, reporting monthly sales and pipeline
    • Responsible for “country” sales forecast & budget in Protein Processing
    • Build a strong and engaged sales function in “country”


    • To handle the sales of food processing machinery, control hardware/ software, and

      technical services offered by JBT

      Executes JBT “country” sales plans and strategies

      Develop a broader understanding of the global business, markets, products and competitors

      Foster strong relationship with existing customers and capitalize new business opportunities within the customer base

      Research, identify and penetrate into new business sectors and new customer base

      Manage JBT product growth strategy within “country”. Key products include Freezing, Frying, Coating, Oven, Slicing

      Penetrate into the territories with new business development,

      Ensure high customer satisfaction

      Identify, develop and execute sales and marketing programs

      Handles customer requests, contracts, returns, allowances and price negotiations

      Present ideas on how to maintain and grow local market share

      Have a good technical / business understanding of the complete product ranges and markets that JBT businesses participate

      Prepare and submit Weekly & monthly Forward Sales Forecast and Market Activities Reports

    • Needs to be a team player, working closely with other Sales and Aftermarket supports as a team. Pro-active, customers orientated and ability to make cold calls and search for new customers and new businesses. Independent, reliable, self starter, honest, diligent, communicate correctly and clearly


    • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fields (preferred but not essential)
    • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience with direct sales in B2B capital equipment and/or processing industry preferably in the food and beverage sector, especially from poultry and refrigeration industries
    • Experience in capital equipment sales is essential
    • Strong knowledge of food and beverage process engineering, and experience in equipment integration, servicing and solutions is an added advantage
    • Proven sales track record in securing results and meeting profit and sales targets
    • Seasoned exposure in in “country” and abroad is required
    • Fluency in English language is a must.
    • Highly motivated individual, diligent and proactive business attitudes with leadership and entrepreneur flair.
    • Ability to handle full responsibilities of customers’ accounts in the territories
    • Self-starter, independent worker, but definitely a team player with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
    • Able to articulate and deliver product presentations
    • Able to represent the protein Sales function in “country” on higher level
