Procurement Analyst – Conflict Minerals and Supplier Risk

Overview

As the Procurement Analyst, you will have three main areas of responsibility. First, you will be the administrator to assist with JBT supply chain’s compliance activities with Conflict Minerals Reporting Template annual submission, supplier follow-ups and reporting. Second, you will support supplier risk tracking and monitoring activities. Third, you will support data analytics and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

    • Conduct the Conflict Minerals Supplier Data Collection process which supports the annual SEC filling.
    • Collaborate with BU’s and Supply Chain stakeholders to identify in scope suppliers that are required to respond to JBT’s Conflict Minerals enquiry.
    • Work with BU’s, Legal, Procurement, Shared Services and Suppliers to obtain the documentation required to demonstrate due diligence for country-of-origin validation.
    • Work to obtain correct contact information for our suppliers with our BU’s and Data Management System.
    • Resolve supplier challenges in order to meet the objectives of the program.
  • Develop and maintain Conflict Minerals repository system of documentation to evidence year-of-year fulfillment of due diligence and reporting of activities.
  • Support various processes for supplier risk assessment, tracking, reporting and follow-up of dates and actions (due diligence questionnaires, annual certifications, audits, financial health, etc.).
  • Provide support to the Procurement team, analysis of transactional data from suppliers, and generation reports to communicate results.

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant Conflict Minerals experience in similar role. Experience in Supply Chain Risk Management is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Providing ad hoc updates and weekly reports detailing progress with supplier management transactions.
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely information in a highly dynamic work environment with strong Customer Focus mindset.
  • Strong transactional focus and strong technical experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
